Bamboo Building Caught on TV

The kit assembled in Hana was prefabricated in Viet Nam by Maui-based Bamboo Technologies. 60 skilled workers spent two and half months in the factory assembling this structure so that the Hana School's local volunteer crew could reassemble the code certified building there in two days. http://www.bambooliving.com/
ML&P cuts 100 positions at Kapalua Resort, corporate headquarters

KAHULUI -- Maui Land & Pineapple Co. announced today it will cut 100 positions at its Kapalua Resort and corporate headquarters in Kahului.
The company also reduced salaries by 10 percent for all remaining employees. The pay cut matches one taken previously by senior managers and all employees in the company's agricultural division on Jan. 1.
